After you have entered all your instruction details, you will be prompted to confirm your instructions. Generally, your instructions are considered as received only when a reference number is given by the Bank after you have confirmed your instruction.

In case there is any communication interruption, you may check if your "Transfer Now" instruction has been received through the transaction history screen under the "My Accounts" section, or if your "Transfer Later" instruction has been accepted through the pending instructions screen.
If you omit required information or input an invalid value during a transaction, an error message will be displayed, stating the error(s) encountered for the specific input field(s).
There is no special format for data input in Hang Seng e-Banking. However, please do not include special characters, such as &, %, <, >, ", (, ), ', ; and, percent, less than, more than, quote, left parenthesis, right parenthesis, single quote, semicolonin input fields (except for details field on 'Customer Enquiries' and 'Suggestions & Feedback' pages.)
Yes, you can switch language or use the functions on the right hand side of the screen during and after your transaction. However, to help avoid any input error, after you have entered the data, if you switch language or use any of the functions on the right-hand side of the screen before you click "Confirm" to confirm your order, all previously entered data will be cleared automatically. You will have to re-enter your data.
You can check messages sent by the Bank in 'Inbox Message', Which you can access by clicking "INBOX" under top "MENU".
Please visit Personal e-Banking log on page, input your username and select "Continue" > "Forgot your password?".
You can follow the instruction to reset your password online right away. If there is anything that you cannot provide to complete the online reset process (e.g. forgot the answer to your Security Question), you will be asked to activate the new password by calling our Customer Service Hotline or visit any of our branches after setting it up.
